So guess how I am writing this post?
Have you guessed yet?
Huh?
Okay, well I will just tell you. My mom got a new iPad. So darn jealous! She got it through her work. I want her job when I grow up. I don't even know what she does. It never seems like very much when I'm there.... Just kidding mom!
Well, things have been good. Nothing really exciting, we have been very cultured this week, however. We went to see the Broadway touring cast of Fiddler on the Roof. It was so awesome! And we saw The Three Muskateers with Emily and Travis at the Morgan Theater. It was also great!
I bought Tron for Caleb, Mockingjay finally came (I'm already half way through!), I'm hopefully going to be getting a pot with some flowers to put outside, we have wedding gifts that keep trickling in (thanks everybody)!
Dalton is going to his first stake dance tonight and my mom is telling him that if he doesn't dAnce with a girl one time tonight he Can't golf next week, poor kid. I've got to role play with him. Oh he's getting so big! Okay....
Best thing that's happened... Mocking jay came!
Best dinner... Chicken and cheese rolled in crescent rolls with cream of chicken and milk and cheese mixture on top!
Oh, and if any of you read Caleb's blog... Yes I was the one who hit him in the head with our fridge. And no we weren't wrestling.

Books that don't come... and some that do!
I finally have the internet for longer than like 20 minutes on something bigger than my smartphone! (Which I love, don't get me wrong, it's just... not the same.) So... here I am!
Becky- your boys would LOVE Tron. I'm sure of it! If you'd like to read all about it, here's a link to Caleb's blog. He just posted about it. cspendlove.blogspot.com
I'm happy to report that I have burned significantly less amounts of food since last time, I'm starting to do pretty good! However, last night, the hook on the back of the door fell down. So sad! Caleb informed me that I'd only be able to hang four light weight coats on it. Bummer!
I started reading The Hunger Games, and I got myself pretty addicted. I finished it in a few days, and wanted the second one right away. A day or two later Caleb and I went to Hastings and found Catching Fire. We had a Visa card that we got from our wedding, so... we bought it! Caleb said he'd buy me the third one (Mockingjay) using a Target gift card, just so long as he could use the two Wal-Mart cards to buy a game (rather... battle chest... or whatever) that he wanted. Well, he ordered it two weeks ago and it's still not here! I guess I should mention that he didn't put our apartment letter so it was "undeliverable as addressed." We contacted Target and they are refunding our card, but it's taking forever! Caleb's almost finished The Hunger Games, and now he can understand why I'm so impatient!
BUT! Alberta send us a gift certificate for PaperBack Swap. (Thanks so much Alberta and Brad!) And I'm really excited because I already ordered two books (Daniel Isn't Talking, and The Kite Runner) and I put the apartment number, and so I'm sure they'll come! (I'm sorry, Caleb. I'm really not that mad at you... ;-) Super excited!
1. The best dinner is tied between two that I've made... Tin Foil dinners with chicken breasts, and twice baked potatoes, broccoli cheese soup, and Mom Spendlove's breadsticks. I think the potatoes, soup, and breadsticks win out, though, because Caleb helped me! He made the twice baked potatoes and they were really yummy! My breadsticks turned out kinda funny looking, and really flat. I'm not sure what I did wrong (Help?) but they weren't horrible, and Caleb assured me (like twenty times) that they were good. So I guess they must have been!
2. The most exciting thing that's happened... well, I guess today is a pretty exciting day. We've been married for one month! It's been a really good month, and I'm excited for all the rest to come!
3. Best cheap date... I'm not sure that this will really count, because it was only cheap for us because we used gift cards and such. But we went to Olive Garden (and paid nothing!) and Kohl's, and only paid like 5 dollars for two new pairs of shorts for Caleb. It was fun!
Well, I think that's all. I'm just finishing up my laundry, and then going to get ready to head to the temple later this afternoon! Thanks for reading, and I hope everything is going well for everybody out there!

Burning things, and falling hooks!
So... I started a blog! I'm sure it's just mostly for myself anyway, but maybe someone will, maybe, one day, get something from it! Okay, so that's a lie, maybe it's just mostly for my mom and mom-in-law. 'Cause you know, now that we're married we never talk to them anymore! (So they say ;-) Anyhow, I thought this would be a fun way for everybody to catch up on what's happening with Caleb and I (because there's so much.) Okay, and... everybody else has one, so I guess I'm just a conformist!
We've been married for three weeks today! Crazy! It feels like just about forever ago that I was so anxious and so tired of waiting even though there was only like what? One more day left! We love our little apartment, it's got it's quirks, but then again, so do we. Our showers last all of like 7-10 minutes, the faucet in the kitchen has a perpetual drip, there's about a foot and a half of room to walk between our bed and dresser (awesome, brand new, beautiful, works-so-good dresser), we finally fixed the weird light in the, uh, dining room, and of course the falling hook!
We got this awesome coat hook for our wedding it says "LOVE." I really wanted it to be hung up so we could hang coats on it. I went to Wal- Mart and bought those nifty little Command Hooks. We followed the directions to a T, and about, oh... three seconds after it was up it fell right off! Caleb said, "The back of the door is too porous." I thought, Okay, whatever that means. Just fix it. He told me if we had some packing tape he could fix it. Anyway, to make a long story short, the hook is now up on the door, it just took a lot of effort to put it there! Caleb doesn't dare hang his heavy leather coat on it yet...
I have never burned so many things in my life! Everybody just keeps telling me it's my oven, it's my oven, but I don't know... sheesh! I've burned cookies, muffins, butter, grilled cheese, garlic bread (I'm not sure I should be flaunting this list of burnt things around...) Okay, well, anyway, I made a goal not to burn anything all week... and you know, I think I've done a pretty good job! At least I haven't set the smoke detector off in a while... ahem.
I've started reading The Hunger Games, in fact, I'm on the second one now, Catching Fire, and the third book should hopefully be here by Thursday (Ooh, that's tomorrow!!!)
Well, I think I'm going to start a new tradition...
1. Best dinner since the last post
2. Most exciting thing since the last post
3. Something else I can't think of right now... Any ideas???
Well, the best dinner I've made was probably the Parmesan Chicken (thanks aunt Becky!) and potatoes.
And the most exciting thing that's happened...tending Gwen for an hour today was super fun, the hook is up!, Caleb is taking me to Olive Garden next week, and... seeing Tron: Legacy.
I think that's about it for now, folks! (hehe) Thanks for reading and I'll see you all again soon!
