Books that don't come... and some that do!

I finally have the internet for longer than like 20 minutes on something bigger than my smartphone! (Which I love, don't get me wrong, it's just... not the same.) So... here I am!

Becky- your boys would LOVE Tron. I'm sure of it! If you'd like to read all about it, here's a link to Caleb's blog. He just posted about it.  cspendlove.blogspot.com

I'm happy to report that I have burned  significantly less amounts of food since last time, I'm starting to do pretty good! However, last night, the hook on the back of the door fell down. So sad! Caleb informed me that I'd only be able to hang four light weight coats on it. Bummer!

I started reading The Hunger Games, and I got myself pretty addicted. I finished it in a few days, and wanted the second one right away. A day or two later Caleb and I went to Hastings and found Catching Fire. We had a Visa card that we got  from our wedding, so... we bought it! Caleb said he'd buy me the third one (Mockingjay) using a Target gift card, just so long as he could use the two Wal-Mart cards to buy a game (rather... battle chest... or whatever) that he wanted. Well, he ordered it two weeks ago and it's still not here! I guess I should mention that he didn't put our apartment letter so it was "undeliverable as addressed." We contacted Target and they are refunding our card, but it's taking forever! Caleb's almost finished The Hunger Games, and now he can understand why I'm so impatient!

BUT! Alberta send us a gift certificate for PaperBack Swap. (Thanks so much Alberta and Brad!) And I'm really excited because I already ordered two books (Daniel Isn't Talking, and The Kite Runner) and I put the apartment number, and so I'm sure they'll come! (I'm sorry, Caleb. I'm really not that mad at you... ;-) Super excited!

1. The best dinner is tied between two that I've made... Tin Foil dinners with chicken breasts, and twice baked potatoes, broccoli cheese soup, and Mom Spendlove's breadsticks. I think the potatoes, soup, and breadsticks win out, though, because Caleb helped me! He made the twice baked potatoes and they were really yummy! My breadsticks turned out kinda funny looking, and really flat. I'm not sure what I did wrong (Help?) but they weren't horrible, and Caleb assured me (like twenty times) that they were good. So I guess they must have been!

2. The most exciting thing that's happened... well, I guess today is a pretty exciting day. We've been married for one month! It's been a really good month, and I'm excited for all the rest to come!

3. Best cheap date... I'm not sure that this will really count, because it was only cheap for us because we used gift cards and such. But we went to Olive Garden (and paid nothing!) and Kohl's, and only paid like 5 dollars for two new pairs of shorts for Caleb. It was fun!

Well, I think that's all. I'm just finishing up my laundry, and then going to get ready to head to the temple later this afternoon! Thanks for reading, and I hope everything is going well for everybody out there!
